The Front National presidential candidate performed her speech in front of 500 partisans.

Between two attacks against her opponent François Fillon, to catch a part of his electorate in a region strongly attached to the right-wing, Marine Le Pen named Philippe de Villiers, former president of the Vendée Council, with whom she claims to share « souverainism » and the « defense of the country’s identity ». The latter wrote a tweet a few moments before the meeting to show his support to the frontist candidate.

A few metters away from there, law enforcement agencies held the 120 militants who came to protest against the candidate’s coming in Les Sables-d’Olonne.
