Inauguration of Benoît Hamon’s
campaign headquarters

Benoît Hamon, the candidate chosen by the French Socialist Party for the presidential elections, has received the medias in his new headquarters this Saturday February 11th 2017. It is in an ancient factory of 1500 square meters that he settled, rue du Château d’Eau, in the 10th arrondissement of Paris.

These premises are luminous, the bay windows big and opened on a popular and trendy quarter. This is not by accident, everything is « transparent like my campaign » promises the candidate. Several personalities of the French Socialist Party answered the call, starting with Jean-Christophe Cambadélis, first secretary of the Socialist Party, or the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.

It is symbolically that Benoît Hamon left Montparnasse quarter to go further north, in a quarter yet renamed « Boboland » by the Parisians (a place reserved to the « bobos », as in bourgeois-bohemian, meaning both consumerist and alternative). He talks about it as a « solidary and cosmopolitan arrondissement », targeting his antipattern and only adversary evoked this Saturday, Marine le Pen.
